I am in between Ph.D and my wife got VISA on F-2 status. I am planning to change my i-20 to masters and get OPT status. If she comes to USA when i am on OPT will there be any probelm at immgration because the i-20 on which she got the VISA will not be valid anymore if change my i-20 to masters and on OPT status. So, do i need to bring her here before i change my i-20 itself?? Please help me with this as soon as possible. Thanks.
