kind of dependent visa for wife while i am working on OPT?

I will be working on my OPT as a post-doc in my department from Dec 2006.

I plan to go to India and get married in Feb 2007 and have to apply for a dependent VISA for my wife.

The online Visa appointment application forms however, have the option of choosing the kind of dependent VISA that i want to apply for. The two options relevant to me are as follows,

1. Spouse of person working in USA
2. Spouse of person studying in USA.


Although i will be working as a post-doc my own visa status is still F-1 and my new OPT I-20 also suggests the same.

I am confused on what option i should be choosing to apply for the dependent VISA for my wife.

Kindly help me in this regard.

you are still on F1 so your spouse would need to come here on an F2.
