Sponsoring Nephew for MS in US

Hi,
I'm US citizen and would like to Sponsor ( Financial stmts etc ) my Nephew who is In India. My Questions are
1. If I sponsor him, does chances of getting I-20 and F1 VIsa Improves rather than his Parents from India. As we have to show bank balances for the last 3 years they may have tough time to provide Bank Statements showing almost 30k US$.

If you sponsor him, he may look like a potential immigrant. It is better that his parents sponsor him. You could transfer $30K into his parents account and once he gets the visa you could transfer it back into your account.

Put the money in the parents account, the more the time it is in there account the better.
Ask him to apply visa then, he will get it.

If I transfer Amount now is it ok?. Consulate sees last 3 years bank statement right ?. If I put more money into their Account wil lit help since only couple of months left for appearing for VIsa?

Its ok.. they are mainly interested in whether you have the funds in your account. They dont care how and when it got there. No one keeps liquid $30,000 in the bank account for 3 years (neither in India or the US). They would rather invest it in real estate or stocks or something.
