Hi, I'm studying in Puerto Rico with an F1 visa, it's my senior year and I'm having only 6 credits next semester, because I don't have any other class to take in order to fulfill the graduation requirements.
The thing is that for that to happen I'm planning on challenging 4 classes (A different porcedure in which you take a comprehensive test of an specific subject and if you pass the test, you pass the class) which is allowed by the university, but the universitiy's international student advisor won't let me do it because she thinks that I will be out of status next semester due to the reduced academic load.
I'm pretty sure I will not be out of status, because I will take only 6 credits next semester, because there wont be more credits to take.
I'll apriciate anyone who can tell me where can I find a specific policy or something to show her wrong and be able do what I'm planning.
