H4 to F1

Hi forum members,

My wife is on H4 and she has almost completed 3 semesters of graduate study already. I would like to know if it is too late for her to apply for F1 visa. If not and she does apply now, how long does it usually take for the process?

HI !

if she can study on H4 ,why does she need to change to F1 now ? is it because of some legal reasons or just personal??

H4 to F1

I am currently on H1 visa and my wife is on H4 visa. Her H4 visa expires in 2008. She is going for her Masters in US. We are planing to change her status to F1. We are Canadian residense, however we dont leave there. After changing her status to F1 should we go to Canada and get her visa stamped for F1 or should we go to India. Any of your help is appreciated.
