    F1 visa rejected

You will have to elaborate on your answer as to WHY you are changing your major. Just saying that you want to puruse a different career is not enough. The visa officer asked you the same question twice, which means that she is willing to give you visa if you can provide her a convincing reason. The officer suspected this to be a case where people try to get F1 visa to get into the country but have no intention of actually studying. The officer thought you got this I20 because it was easy to obtain such. Your reply is most likely recorded in your file and will be referred to during your second interview.

For your second interview, you simply will have to provide much more details. What are you benefiting from switching your career? Establish a link between your old career and a new career. Do some research on the web. Find out why getting an MBA in health care will benefit you for whatever you want to do in India. Why would you spend so much money to get that education? Back up all you answers with adequate documentation to convince the officer that you did your research and these are the documents from your research.

Showing more money is not the answer to officer's concern.

    Good luck!

    Vijay

your father's income bears no relationship to you qualifying for a student visa....if the consul does not believe you will return after your studies, you won't get the student visa....your father's income or property holdings are meaningless...and documents won't convince the consul either....anyone can print or download documents...it just comes down to what the consul believes
