Dear Sir,
My daughter, 26 yrs., Post Graduate ( MCA ), is getting married to an
Indian Phd Student ( 28 yrs. ) in a US University ( having F1 Visa ).
The boy gets average assistance from University jobs to the tune
of USD 1800 / 2000 pm.
Boy is presently in India for next few days.
My daughter has in India her savings equivalent to USD 20000 which she can carry with her or can be transferred to the a/c of the boy.
I understand that there is a type of US Visa ( F2 or any other ) where F1 visa holder can sponsor his dependent spouse for US visa.
Could you please elaborate on the type of Visa, its procedure, documents required and lead time for processing such visa.
