financial docs for F1

Hi,
Wanted to know what all financial docs are accepted for F1 Visa.
I guess bank stmt does.....

But, does the bank stmt. need to show transactions on the specified account for last 6 months?

What if I take an educational loan and show it?

You need to have bank statement and transactions for 6 months even though you have bank-loan.
Sometimes they may ask for the latest i think 5-6 months transactions from the date of your visa interview.
so if June 1st is your interview, it is needed to have transactions dating back from Dec 2006 - May 2007. Sometimes they may not even ask this but can ask if they want to see.
