change my passport before application?

I have one question. I am accepted for graduate studies at USA and I will apply for F1 visa. My husband will apply for F2. We have marriage certificate but on our passports on adress page we don't have the same adresses. Should I change my passport before application?

Hello,
I am also in the same boat as you are. I have recieved admission for phd and want to take my husband along with me as a dependent. Could you give me any tips regarding the visa inerview?
I am really confused whether we should go together for the interview. And I am also wondering if I should tell them that I will be studying there while my husband wil continue with his business here and visit me once in a while. We are considering this since we do not know what to tell if asked what he will do there when i go to college.
Do you have any suggestions?
