Will be getting B1. How difficult to convert to F1?

Hi,

I am going to US on B1 for some conference for a week. I am yet to
get the B1 visa. I Should be getting it in a couple of weeks.

More importantly, I have plans to study soon. So I will be applying for F1.
I wanted to know, if there will be any adverse effects of having a B1 while
applying for a F1?
