Query regarding F1 Visa
My fiancee has got offer for PhD from University of Miami and has also got the I-20 from the university. Now we will be getting married in the month of May. The I-20 form is showing her status as single. Please tell me what are the documents required for applying the F1 Visa in this case? She will be updating her status on her passport. Whether Marriage Certificate along with the original I-20 form and updated passport will be enough or there are any other documents required? Please also let me know whether there will be any problem for her in getting the F1 visa because of different status on the I-20 form and on the Passport?
