i 20 and passport name format!

my entire name in my passport appears in the given name section as x y z ,my i 20 is going to arrive next week .i want to know what if on my i 20 my name is split up into given name xy and last name z,do i need to get my i 20 changed in this scenario or can i go ahead with the visa application .please reply thank you!

It is better to ask your sponsor to resend corrected I-20.

can any one tell me what will be the correct format for my i 20 if my entire name in my passport appears only in the given name section. and the last name section is blank.
