Passport Validity...!!
Dear Friends,
I am on F1 visa to US valid from Sep 06 to Sep 08. My Passport expires on Jan 09. So I have got 3~4 months for my passport to expire (assuming my graduation in Sep 08).
Now, If I want to go for OPT after Sep 08 to Sep09, then I have to get my Passport renewed( which I believe can be done at Indian Consulate). That I can do 6 moths prior to my expiry date, that means July 08.
Please tell me in this condition, how should I plan my OPT application in this circumstance.. Should I plan to graduate earlier and apply for OPT early, say by May 08 and then on recieving the OPT stamped, go for the Passport renewal in July 08..
Can any one give me the best solution for me..!!
