    L2 to F1

    Hi,

    I am currently in the US on a L2. I am now considering joining a university for a course and wanted to know if
    a) it is necessary for me to change to a F1 or if I can study on a L2 itself
    b) is it possible to transfer to a F1 in the middle of the course if I need to for some reason?
