H4 to F1 visa
My friend recently got divorced. She is on H4 visa. She applied for college and recieved I20. But accorording to I539 she needs to submit the spouse's H1B approval papers and Passport copy. Unfortunately her ex does not want to provide that information. Can she still file for F1 without those documents? Will she be considered out of status since she is divorced? Any help/advice is appreciated.
