Hello Forum members,
I require some information regarding my application for an F1 visa. I completed my Ph.d in Physics from the US and then went to Europe for a post-doc. I returned after two years to US on a B-2 visa. Now I have secured admission in a Masters program in a Business school in the US. My B 2 visa expired a few months ago. I applied for an extension and my application is pending.
1. Is it advisable to get the change of status done at Mexico or Canada, or is it best to come to India?
2. In case I'm required to come to India, I will need to take an appointment at the Kolkata consulate. Can anyone provide me with the kinds of questions asked at the interview?
