I am currently on H4 visa. I am planning to apply for Ph.D program in United States. However the fees are high. So I plan to change my status from H4 to F1. I read a lot about this procedure and it scares me I got lot of questions in mind.
1. Being on H4 visa can I expect funding for Ph.D program?
2. What are the odds of changing from H4 to F1?
3. If this change is rejected will my H4 status be still valid?
