    F1 stamping

    Hi All
    I am on F1 visa ,traveling to India and need to get F1 stamped(Got H4 to F1 changed this sem).My son is also traveling with me.There is a question in DS 156 which says if any siblings or kids have a US citizenship?My son is a US citizen(He is 18 months old).My question :Is it ok to mention in DS 156 that my son is a US citizen as i am worried that it might affect my visa.
    Any inputs will be appreciated.

    First, you should never lie on an immigration form.

    Two, it is fine to name your son on that petition as he can not affect your immigration status (he can not petition you for a Green Card) until he is an adult.
