HI, I am planning to attend school in the U.S. I have suuficent liquid funds in the bank to cover (Board and lodging) for two years. If additional funds needed, will be provided by my father. Also a realtive of mine, uncle gave a notorized letter saying that he will take care of my accomadation and food expensess during my temerory stay. If I do present my uncles letter to the counsel officer, will they deny my student visa thinking that I am a potential immigrant. Should I mention this? Please advice, Thanks.

since your uncle can not provide you with a legal immigration status, I do not think that showng that letter will be a problem.Disclaimer: The information you obtain from me at this forum is not, nor is it intended to be, legal advice.
