Hi All,
I had been to the consulate on 17th of Jan and my Univ joining date was Jan 23rd. However, I was given a pink slip for Administrative Processing under 221(g) act and at that time consular told me to get an extension of 1 month from the university. Now, my Visa is approved, they want me to send the passport for stamping but I do not have I-20. Univ said 1 month extension is not possible. I asked them to defer my I-20 for summer and they said the program I applied to is only offered during the Spring and Fall intake.
Now, Fall is going to be too long. If I send my passport now with Fall I-20, will the consulate stamp Visa on my passport for Fall sem Or can I send my passport with an I-20 of another Univ???
