  • Sponsorship of expenses for student visa

    Hi,

I checked your website and found the information about US visa quite informative. I want to know something.

    1. I applied for a student visa on nov. 2006 but is was refused. The visa officer said I dont have enough funds though I showed bank balance of 15 Lakhs. and fixed property of 30 lakhs. I have re-applied to the university and I have got a fresh I20. This time my uncles have agreed to transfer their money to my dad's account and thus I'll be able to show liquid property of 30-35 Lakhs. plus the fixed property.
But my question in will the officer ask me from where did I manage to get so much money in less than 2 years. Will doing such a thing backlist me permanently??

    2. How can my first application influence my second application.

Hope to get your reply soon.

    1. As long as you have money that you can really utilize for your study in USA, that is no problem. If your uncle is just transferring money temporarily to show bank balance, that does not work.

    2. It is very subjective.
