Hi,
I came to united states in 02 on H4 (dependant on my dad) and then i switched my status from H4 to F1 (Approved) in 2006, because i turned 21 and couldnt stay on dad's green card file. In december 07 I was planning to go baq to India for vacation as I have never been baq since i came here. I bought tickets and everything was set, but then my international student advisor in my university got worried about my stamping in India. She said that they might give me problems because my parents are pending immigrants in this country and I might not come baq, so they thought its a huge risk of me going baq. I also consulted my dad's lawyer and he suggested me not to go either, so my trip was cancelled.
So my question is will I ever be able to go back to own country? Is it kool if i go to canada and get my stamping done over there? or thats risky too?
Please give me any suggestions.
Thank You
