Travel to Calgary Canada with Expired USA F1 visa

Hi Officer,

I want to travel to Calgary Canada, meet my uncle, stay there less than 7days. Right now, I am an international student to pursue master degree in Fremont, California USA; the F1 VISA was issued by USA Embassy, Beijing China. The expiration date is 07 Sep 2007, but my plan is going to Canada this year.


Questions:

1. Can I get a VISA for travel to Canada?

2. Can I reenter USA from Canada directly? (I do not want to meet the situation of go back to Beijing China from Canada, reenter USA after renew my F1 VISA in Beijing China.)
