Lost I-20

Hey...i recently got a F1 visa...but my I-20 Form was misplaced at the US consulate at Mumbai...what should i do..can i travel with a photocopy of the I-20 Form...my course in the US has already started and i am late..!!
an early reply will be greatly appreciated since i am running out of time...

Talk to your school and ask them for possible solution.

Arriving after the school starts by itself is risky and without an original I-20, you are almost out of luck. You need to get a duplicate issued, defer your admission and come later.
