Apply for H1B while on F1 Visa
I'm currently doing my masters on F1 Visa. My Masters is scheduled to be completed by beginning of May 09.
Can I apply for H1B in the regular quota this year (Apr-2008)? (I did not receive my bachelor degree in the US, but in my home country)
In case if my H1B Application is approved, The effective date of the H1B Application would be 1st Oct-2008.
Will my status automatically change from F1 to H1 on 1st Oct-2008? Will I be able to complete my last two graduate semesters ?
