I-797 for H4 spouse

Hi your website attached below for H-4 application. You mentioned that the applicant for the H-4 visa need to bring a copy of I-797. I dont believe the spouse (H-4) applicant has an I 797 form. the I 797 should be the form of the H-1B holder. Please clarify the copy of the I797 is from the H-1B holder not from the spouse who is seeking a H-4 visa.
