Confusion regarding B1 and F1 visa.

Hi,

I have an admit from the Ohio state university, fall 08 and course starts in september 08. I am yet to apply for F1 visa.
Now the company i work in wants me to go to US for one month (June 08) for which I will be applying for B1 visa. So can I come back to India in July and apply for F1 then? I tried finding what is the procedure for the same, but could not find it anywhere. Please guide me or gimme some link on which I can find the related information.

Yes, you can do that. In fact, it is better. When a company sponsors your B1, you will most likely get it and also get over the immigrant intent. You returning back to India on your B1 improves the chances of F1 getting approved without any problem provided all other documents are good.
