Hello,
I have received graduate assistantship from the university. Information in boxes 7 and 8 on my I-20 is as below-
7. Average costs for an academic term of 10 months: Total = $34,016.00
8. Student's means of support for 10 months:
a. Student's personal funds: $0.0
b. Funds from the school (Grad. Assistantship): $35,922.0
c. Funds from another source: $0.0
d. On-campus employment: $0.0
Total: $35,922.0
Total study period is 24 months.
For my visa interview, would the 'offer letter' from the university certifying the graduate assistanship would suffice?
Or, to be safe, should I also carry other funding proof like my personal bank statement showing my saving, etc.?
Thanks!
