our case back ground :
I am a dentist came in Aug 04 for MHA (Health admin ) - on F1 - given Feb 04 till Feb 07
Family-Doctor wife, 2 minor children ( son, dtr)
wife and son have visitors visas to usa but NOT to dtr as she wasn't born when we took visas
I visited india in 2005 during MHA
Soon after MHA
In 07 April during my OPT (Feb 07 - feb 08) I gt an admission in DDS -Ca joined in July 07
DDS I 20 - July 07 - June 09 (student status)
unfortunatly my family was denied F2 visas - 3 times ( 214 b)
- twice during my MHA- May 06, Nov 06
- Once soon after I joined DDS -in Sept 07
My dtr was denied B2 visa Twice (214b) - Dec07 , April 08 (xmas,summr vacations)
We ve shown adequate funds on my name and my wife's from india.
My wife and son have visited me in 2006 and are here right now- in 2008.
Its been nearly 2 1/2 yrs snce i ve seen my dtr !!
When mywife asked abt the long separation from my dtr the VO said they had serious concerns abt my going back to india - this rules out my visiting india now -with huge study loan.
I am on a valid student status now and have 14 months more to finish DDS.
my questions are
-What are the chances of them gtting F2 / B2 for dtr after so many denials ?/ can i still file
-Since my son is here can I apply for his change of status frm B2 to F2 - only for him, as my wife needs to go back to be with my dtr and can visit me atleast
