Clarifications on using Bank Loan for F1

Hi.

I have admits from US Universities for MS. I have the following questions on using a Bank loan to get F1 visa stamped -

- Some people suggest not to have a bank loan as a mode of financial support. What can go wrong with visa stamping using bank loan?

- If I get sanctioned a bank loan for amount in excess of the expense mentioned by the university:
- approximately how much cash should be shown.
- approximately how much property evaluation for my father would be needed.
