Declaring sibling in US

Hi,

I wanted to know the pros and cons of declaring a sibling in US.

If i declare that my brother is in US, will the chances of rejection be more? He says he hasnt mentioned my name in his documents.

If i do not declare that my brother is in US, can they find out that i do have a sibling in US? My brother's last name is different in the passport from mine, but the home address is the same.

Please advise. My Visa date is on 18th June

There is no pro and cons. You HAVE to declare your relatives in the USA. PERIOD.

If you lie, they will find out and ban you from ANY kind of visa, forever.
