Hi,how r u ?
I got rejected F1 visa for the first time because iam not having GRE.My Toefl score is 106 & the university which i applied doesn't require any GRE.The VO asked me that have u applied to the univ's which doesn't require GRE?I said that no,i have applied to the univ's which suits to my acedamic profile.so the VO was not convinced for that & told better luck next time.Can you plz help me regarding this question & how to present my answer for the 2nd time.Thanking you in advance.....

Your answer sounds quite alright. But may be you falied to convince the VO, this may be due to several reasons. If you indeed chose universities based on your academic orientation, you can attempt again with preparedness to convice the VO if the same question comes again, dont hesitate to elaborate if needed, you must have good communication skills and and must be confident. Also be prepared for further questioning on whatever you tell them, they generally do it to check for geuineness.
