Laid-off during F1 OPT automatic extension!

Hi All,

I find myself in a strange situation...

I was working at a startup on my F1-automatically-extended OPT (My original OPT period started from June 1 2007. However, my employer applied for H1B on my behalf which got approved for Oct 2008). Now, things took a downturn at the startup and they basically closed shop.

My question is how much time do I have to find alternate employment?
