Duration of time left on F1
Hi,
I'm currently on H4 and attending university. My H4 is valid until April'2010.
I got admitted to a University in US for MS program in Fall 2007 while on H4. I attended school from fall 2007 up until now in H4.
Currently I'm planning to apply F1 visa for Spring 2009 semester.Typically F1 visa is given for 2 years for MS students, now that I have already
studied one and half years (3 semesters) on H4, is my F1 going to be granted only for 6 months (one semester) or is it going to be granted based
on as many courses are left for completion of full MS program.
