Married student with Advance Parole

My friend has a student visa but she is not in school any more. She quit school after she got married to US citizen. They applied for Advance Parole and was granted. They are not sure if they can still travel because she does not have a valid I-20 now.

My question is Can she still travel without a valid I-20 and use the Advance Parol instead?
