Birth certificate

Dear Sir/Madam:

I am a student and willing to pursue higher education in U.S.A. My date of birth in marksheets and birth certificate is different.So will it cause a problem for me.Is original birth certificate necessary for applying visa.

Birth certificate is not required for student visa.

However, it will be require later if you want to apply for green card.
