Dear Sir/Madam,
I write to ask if it would be a good idea for a parent, whose child was denied a student visa under section 214B, to write a letter addressed to the visa officer, assuring him/her that the student would return home after the completion of studies and mentioning compelling factors that would make the student do so. Such as, the fact that the student in question is an only son and so has a lot of responsibilities to do in the family.
