Hello,
I came to the USA on B2 visa, applied for change of status to F1. My change of status to F1 is approved and would be starting my graduation program in Jan 2009.
My wife, a Legal Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder) will be attending her Naturalization (Citizenship) Oath Ceremony this month. She would like to apply for my Green Card immediately after she becomes a citizen. If she applies for my Green Card, would it lead to withdrawal of my F1? I would like to start my Graduation Program at the earliest.
