M1, what if I-539 is denied?

Hi there,
I am on a valid I20 till February 09.
My I94 is till April 09.
My visa is M1 valid till 2013.
I have just sent a I539 application for extension as I wish to pursue another course.
I was wondering what to do in case it is denied?
Can I reapply for it?

Depends. If your course work and valid status on M1 ended by the time of denial, no more extensions allowed as you will not hold a status.

well my M1 is valid till 2013.
any for my coursework, i am starting a new one. It will not be complete before next year.

Another question, I had.

If my I539 on my current I20 is denied, and I go back, is my M1 VISA VALID?
Can I get a new I20 for the same school and come back to us on the new I20 and same older M1 visa?
