Dear People,
I am studying currently in Germany and I have got an admission in Stanford for a PhD. I am expecting my I-20 by end of June. I called up the US Embassy in Frankfurt and they told me that I can apply from there for the F1 visa.
The visa related information on travel.state.gov/visa;foreignstuden.html
gave me the impression that applying from ones home country might have some advantages.
Can you please tell me as to which option would be the best in my case ? Or is it the case that there is not much to choose ?
Best Regards,
Aditya Mavlankar.
