Hi ,
I am presently on F2 and i have applied to the universities here. My application has been approved. Since one cannot get a degree being on F2, i would like to convert my visa status to F1. Could anyone please tell me
1) if i can get the stamping being in the US itself and how long this procedure might take
2) if i can get the stamping from Canada and how long it might take?
or
3) Do i have to go to my country of citizenship (India)?
Also
4) I would like to know what the consequences would be if my F1 was rejected ? Can i still be back here on F2 ?
Please Let me know the above information.
