Hi There,
I have question about the OPT extension.
I have been working with my employer from Sept 2007.Its almost 11/2 yr from now.
I worked on CPT for about 8months (until may '08). Then got OPT and it is valid till june 2009.
My question is that i have to extend my OPT and for that
1. is it enough if my employer enrolled in E-Verify program.
2. Do they have to e-verify my eligibility through e-verify program?(Because i have been working for them even before this rule and i heard
that this is for only new hires)
Can any one one confirm this ASAP?
