H1B to F1

Hello,

I am currently on an H1B visa (since oct 2008) but have not found a project yet. I have not traveled outside the country since then. I wish to study this fall (sept 09) on an f1 visa. I want to know if I will be required to show recent pay stubs or any other H1 related documents at the time of my F1 Visa stamping?

You have been out of status since OCT08. For COS to any other nonimmigrant category you'll have to prove you have maintained status throughout.
