regarding parents visa sponsoring on F1(OPT) status

hi ,

i am on F1 (OPT ) status and i want sponsor my parents for my graduation day ,i am eligible to do it and what documents i need to sponsor them and what type of visa they can get and how many years they can get the visa ?

Visitor visa sponsorship is an unnecessary convention that people follow, IMO.

Let them try on their own merits (ties to home country etc.) and you do not get involved financially as you are on F1 status. Just my suggestion.

B1 visitor visa is what they should apply for. It is good that they show that they have a job ,property, bank statements etc. It is hard to say for how long your parents can get the visitor visa. I have seen some people get a multiple entry visitor visa for 10 years and their stay should not exceed 6 months, while some get visas for 6 months at the max.
