Strong ties for F2?

Hi all,

I had a doubt that is it important to prove strong ties to home country when going for F2 visa interview? Or is it implicit that I have non immigrant intent when my spouse has been granted F1 visa obviously taking into consideration his non immigrant intent?

We were planning to show an offer letter from a company offering me a position to join them next year..will it be any good to show that or its not needed as my visa will be dependent on my husband's?
