F2 visa on OPT after H1-B approval..

Thanks in advance for your help..

I am on OPT right now.. and applying for my H1-B this year.. If my H1-B gets approved, can my wife still enter US on F2 visa or she would have to wait until my status changes from F1 to H1 and then apply for H4..? If she has to come on H4, what could be the earliest time that she can enter US..?
