Lost passport

I have given my passport to renew thru USPS and they lost it mail.......What Can I do now? If I apply for new passport/lost passport how would they get My visa Stamping on new one?

You will not have a visa and have to re-appear for the visa when you travel again.

USPS does send all mail to a lost mail processing center and if your envelope has any sort of proof of your address inside it on a paper, they will send it back to you or the consulate.

I have had a mail (not PP) lost and it came back to me after 6 weeks. They opened it, found my address inside it and sent it back using priority mail.
The "To/From" address from the package was ripped off by the conveyor belt in my case as it was glued/taped. Now, I make sure I always write the address on the cover used . Lesson learned!

I think I should wait for some days..I lodged a complaint to USPS regardin this issue...It wasnt a small pkg I dont know how they lost that....

They finally got my passport after 15 days..
