A student I was sponsoring to attend college in Chicago, IL had his visa appoinment and was denined without prejudice today in Kiev, Ukraine. During the brief meeting the counselor did not ask any questions until after they stamped denied. After the stamp they asked a question about the sponsor, just who I was in relationship to him, but this came after the denial stamp. He is thinking about setting up another appointment, are we just wasting money? All forms were in complete order, 1-120, I-134 etc. FYI - he was in the US on a workers visa in 2008 and applied for a a vistor extension which was denied due to lengh of time it took to process the 6 month extension.
Any comments would be very helpful,
