Hi,
I came to the US in 2004 on my F1 status to do my MS.Then I got married here. I finished my MS and moved to H4. I had H1 approved in Last year quota, But I did Leap frog and Continued to stay in H4. Now, I have got an opportunity to do my Ph.d with funding. I have to be in F1 to accept the funding and the stipend. My questions are
1) Is there a premium processing method for COS from H4- F1. I understand from a lot of posts here that it takes 2- 6 months for a normal COS processing.
2) If i go out of the country and try to get F1 stamping from my home country. What are my chances of getting one. My husband is on h1 and my son a citizen, Will they ruin my chances of having an F1 visa stamped.
3) Please suggest which of the above two is a better option for me.
