Hello,

I got my F1 visa on Dec 2008 for the spring 2009 session.The university which I am supposed to go is university of Troy,Alabama.I deferred my course to Fall 2009.Now I got an admission in another university in New jersey.I am planning to transfer to the university in new jersey.To transfer from Troy to new Jersey is it compulsory for me to go to Troy and take their permission and then go to new jersey?Or can i directly go to new jersey?

Please help me in this issue.i will be grateful to you.

a friend of mine is from germany an she wants to start a master program in fall 09 in the US. now my question: When does she needs to apply for her student visa?
